Football Season Ticket Historic Opportunity Ends May 31

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University athletics department is offering a football season ticket "early bird special" and will extend the deadline to purchase season tickets at the cost of $135 for its new 30,000 on-campus football stadium on FAU's Boca Raton campus.
By purchasing a pair of season tickets by Tuesday, May 31, season ticket holders also will have the opportunity to upgrade to premium and priority club seats, as well as have their name placed on the "Early Owl" Recognition Wall which will be located on a pillar in the new stadium.
Those who have purchased season tickets by the first week of May will have the opportunity to choose their seats beginning on Friday, May 6. To view the Virtual VenueTM that allows fans to search for seats as well as obtain a 360-degree-view from the seat that is selected, visit the FAU Interactive Seating Map at http://fau.io-media.com/.
The FAU stadium is the centerpiece of FAU's Innovation Village, located in the north central area of campus. A $70 million project, it is slated to feature 6,000 premium seats, including 24 suites, 26 loge boxes, 1,000 premier club seats and 4,000 priority club seats, and the latest, state-of-the art amenities.
The 2011 football season will host five home games to be played for the first time on FAU's Boca Raton campus. The home season opener is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 15.
