BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's men's golf team moved up four spots to No. 14 in the 21-team USF Invitational played at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club, in Dade City, FL.

Michael Baskovich continues to lead the Owls and is just one over par for the tournament after shooting a first-round 72 and a second round 73 for a 145 two-day total with one day to play. Baskovich is tied for 27th.

John Justin Thompson improved his second round by six shots (77, 71 - 148) and is tied at 44. One stroke back is teammate Casey Matthews (79, 70 - 149), who is tied for 49 after a two under second day. Kelly McHugh had an eight stroke improvement with a two over 74 (82, 74 - 156). McHugh sits at T87 and rounded out the team scorers to put the Owls at 593.

Clint Wilheim is tied with McHugh after shooting a 79 (77, 79 - 156. The Owls will be back on the course for the final round Sunday morning.
