Owls Look for Continued Momentum in Alabama

ONEONTA, Ala. – Fresh off a victory in its first event of the fall, Florida Atlantic men's golf will look to make it 2-for-2 at the Graeme McDowell Invitational hosted by UAB beginning Monday in Oneonta, Alabama. The Owls received 15 votes in the initial Bushnell/Golfweek Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Lineup
The Owls will keep the same lineup that competed in Myrtle Beach two weeks ago. Biagio Gagliardi (2nd), NaShawn Tyson (T3), and Guilherme Grinberg (T8) each opened their season with individual Top 10 finishes. Freshman Louka Morin closed with a final round 69 to tie for 28th. Senior Kaleb Palm will occupy the fifth spot in the lineup after racking up 13 birdies and an eagle in Myrtle Beach. Junior Jack Brugman will also make his fall debut, competing as an individual.

Limestone Springs will play as a par 70Â at approximately 6,800 yards.

The Field
The field includes 14 teams and 76 individuals. The Owls are the highest-ranked team in the field at No. 39. No. 11 Alabama will have three individuals but will not compete in the team competition.

The Owls will be paired with North Alabama and Jacksonville State for the first two rounds. Monday's opening round will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. EST, followed immediately by the second round.
