Baseball -- I played it my entire life. Sixty-six feet away, throwing hard and challenging the batter, that is what I knew.
Football -- It was new to me, but it provided the most opportunity. My high school coach saw potential. I saw college scholarship opportunities. After winning the football District Championship recruiters began to notice. Meeting the college admission challenges was my next hurdle.
I was challenged by the admission requirements but faced each head on knowing a college degree would open doors to my future. The coaches helped me reach these goals. I hope to do the same for others as a coach.
My name is Jamere Johnson.
I'm a two-time bowl champion. I work hard and study hard.
