- As one of eight kids, third from the youngest, it was important to keep busy and be happy-go-lucky. There wasn't much for me to aspire to living in a small town with few success stories, but I looked to my older brother Tarrance, who went to Missouri Valley. He was seven years older and always made good grades. I looked to him as an example and believed that if he could do it, I could too. I was afraid not to try. I moved in with my father when I was in 8th grade and only recently learned why he wasn't around when I was younger. I discovered how hard he worked to support his family and the importance of getting a college education so that I wouldn't fall into the same traps. My father leaves every morning at 5 a.m. and doesn't return until 8 or 9 at night. FAU and football has shown me another way to live. It has been worth all the hours of practice to get here. It will also be worth all the hours of class and study hall when I graduate.
My name is Dino Cox.
I'm a true senior and a health administration major.
