Football Hits the Practice Field for its Final Week

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football team took to the practice field, on Tuesday, for the final week of game-week preparation. Tuesday was the first of four remaining practices for the 19 seniors who will close out their collegiate careers on Saturday when the Owls play host to Troy University, 2 p.m. on ESPNU.
While it is the final week of practice, the schedule held to its normal routine. The day began with kick-off and kick-return work. There was 10 minutes of "indo" work and then FAU began installing the running game and defense against Troy's running game which averages 150 yards per game.
The Owls then moved into seven-on-seven and finished the day with nearly an hour of team work, PATs and field goals.
