Boca Raton, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team will conclude its fall schedule by participating in the University of Central Florida's Fall Invitational, beginning on Friday, October 29, and continuing until Sunday, October 31, in Orlando, Fla.
"We are excited for our last team travel event of the fall season," said Brandon Stokes, FAU's head men's tennis coach. We are ready to apply what we have been working on."
Senior Marc Abdelnour is the tournament's No. 1 seeded singles player and looks to continue his strong fall play. The Syria native has a 6-3 record and was among the top 32 singles players in last weekend's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southeast Regional. He has recorded 68 career singles victories to rank second all-time in FAU history.
Other Owls' singles competitors will be freshman Oliver Webb, the No. 2 seeded player in the tournament's secondary singles competition after posting two fall victories, and freshman Andrew Sloan.
FAU will also have one doubles team participating in the tournament.
