BOCA RATON, FL -
Florida Atlantic University's football team completed day two of its preparation for Shula Bowl IX and homecoming with its Wednesday practice.
Like a game, the day began with kick-off. The squad then moved into individual work and installing the team run and run defense. It was then time for seven-on-seven and the inside drill.
More than half the practice was spent on team work and situational drills. Drills that saw David Kooi hit both DeAndre Richardson and Jeff Blanchard for big yardage.
The Owls will return to the practice fields 3:30 p.m. Thursday. All practices are free and open to the public. Following practice Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger will be joined by ESPN760's Ken LaVicka for the weekly FAU SportsPage Radio Show. The duo welcome guest and encourage fans to call into the show 1-888-760-3776.
Season and single-game tickets are available by calling 1-866-FAU-Owls or at www.fausports.com.
