BOCA RATON, FL - Thursday was the final day for Florida Atlantic University's football team to practice at the Tom Oxley Athletic Center in preparation for the 1 p.m. Arkansas State game this Saturday.
The Owls took to the practice field at 3:30 p.m. and spent the bulk of the day reviewing situations on both the offensive and defensive fields.
Thursday ended with point after and field goal work where Ross Gornall began at PAT distance and worked his way back to nearly the 50 yard line.
The Owls will do their Friday pre-game walk through at FAU before leaving for Jonesboro, AR.
Worthy of Note: Mark your calendars now for the annual Shula Bowl Coaches Dinner. The South Florida Touchdown Club will be hosting a steak dinner for fans of both FAU and FIU in the Tom Oxley Athletic Center's Founders' Lounge on the Boca Raton Campus, 777 Glades Road. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased by contacting 305-447-1815. This is sure to be a great event!
Saturday's game at Arkansas State will air in the Boca Raton area on CSS. Check your local listings for your broadcast area. It is a Sun Belt Network production.
