Owls Look To Snap Two-Game Slide Against Troy

TONIGHT'S GAME: Florida Atlantic (6-7, 2-1 Sun Belt) continues its three-game conference homestand with a matchup against Troy (8-4, 1-2 Sun Belt). The Owls haven't defeated Troy since the 2004-05 season and have dropped eight straight games against the Trojans.

LAST TIME OUT FOR FAU: The Owls lost their first conference game of the season, falling to South Alabama 68-58 at home on Saturday night. Shakyra Nettles led all scorers with 25 points for the Jaguars who improved to 3-0 in the Sun Belt
LAST TIME OUT FOR TROY: The Trojans snapped a two-game losing streak by defeating Army 74-65 at home on Monday night. The Trojans tied a school record by hitting all 15 of their free-throw attempts and for the second time this season Troy had five players in double figures. Freshman Sophie Kleeman led all scorers with 17 points.
DOUBLING DOWN: Senior Brittany Bowe and junior Lyrell Barfield recorded the first double-doubles of the season for FAU in Saturday's loss against South Alabama. Bowe scored 15 points and collected a career-high 11 rebounds while Barfield tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds.
