FAU Kickers Earn National Recognition

Florida Atlantic University's football team will travel to Murfreesboro, TN for a rare Tuesday night contest. The game will be televised at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Fans can also listen to the game at 640 AM WFTL, 1590 AM WPSL and on the internet at www.FAUSPORTS.com. The game will also be carried on ESPN360. Any college student in the world can watch the game free of charge via ESPN360.

The Owls hold the all-time series advantage at 3-2, including the program's first victory over a Division I-A team in 2003 and the season opener which began FAU's the march towards the Sun Belt Conference title in 2007.
QB Rusty Smith will lead the Owls offense while LB Frantz Joseph, who is second nationally with 13.5 tackles per game, will spearhead the FAU defensive effort.
Florida Atlantic University will be featured once again on Tuesday night when the Owls play host to Troy University at 7 p.m. ET, October 7 at Lockhart Stadium. That game will also be nationally televised on ESPN2 and will be carried on WFTL, WPSL and on the internet.
