Florida Atlantic University's football team continued practice today with full pads in windy and rainy conditions.
The Owls started practice with punt drills, followed by 1 on 1 and 7 on 7 drills. Practiced ended with goal line scrimmage and PAT attempts. Players did not run gassers today. Defensive lineman Jervonte Jackson and cornerback Tavious Polo were at full strength today, after being slightly limited the previous few days. Linebacker George Allen seems to have a knack for the ball as he intercepted another pass, his second in three days. The second string players received more time today than usual. FAU will have another three-a-day tomorrow with a scrimmage in the final practice.
Season and individual game tickets are on sale now. The Owls begin their home schedule against the University of Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday, September 6 at 4 p.m. at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. For more information or to purchase tickets, call 1-866-FAU-OWLS.
