After posting a 24-8 record on the year, Florida Atlantic University's Olivier Sajous was named to the Sun Belt All-Conference men's tennis team. The sophomore finished the year 5-5 at the No. 1 spot and 8-0 at the No. 2 spot.
Sajous had singles wins over FSU's Sam Chang and UF's Nestor Briceno in the fall. In the spring he helped the Owls to wins over no. 68 North Florida and no.55 USF with two-set victories over Javier Ferrin and Mahmoud Hamed.
Entering as the no. 4 seed at the SBC Tournament, Sajous will try to guide the Owls to their second conference title in the program's history. The team is scheduled to take on UALR in the first round at the tournament in Monroe, LA which begins on Friday.
