Alexander finished first in the 100 yard backstroke (58.13), second in the 200 yard IM (2:08.04), and third in the 200 yard backstroke (2:05.24). Statse Michota lowered her times in the 1,000 freestyle event with a third place finish in 10 minutes, 23 seconds. Michota came back in the 500 freestyle with another best with a 5:09.85. Other seasonal bests were Jennifer Forcht in the 200 yard butterfly (2:06.62), Stephanie DeRito in the 50 yard freestyle (24.50) and the 200 yard freestyle relay team (1:39.18) consisting of Julie Carmigniani, Jonna Nyback, Forcht and DeRito.
The FAU men came close to earning two dual meet victories, but fell short against OSU and Old Dominion. Freshman Csaba Pek tallied two more wins in the 200 yard backstroke (1:50.16) and the 200 yard IM (1:52.75). Rick Duran won the 1,000 yard freestyle in 9:37.66, with teammate Michael Shimansky finishing second in a seasonal-best 9:46.39. Divers Kyle Polk and Garrett LeMon had break-out performances today, tying for third in the 1-meter dive at 242.20, an increase of 50 points for the freshman. They also improved their one-meter dives. The final seasonal best set today was by the 200 yard freestyle relay tean with Tyler Griffith, Evan Boley, Jonathan Van Zee and Anthony Fermin stopping the clock in 1:28.20.
