Overtime Victory Assures Playoff Spot for FAU

JONESBORO, AR - Florida Atlantic University won its fifth-straight match, beating host Arkansas State University 3-2 in Sun Belt Conference women's soccer action Friday night.
FAU junior forward Ashley Mannarino netted the deciding goal five minutes into the extra session. It was Mannarino's fourth game-winning goal of FAU's current win-streak.
The victory assures Florida Atlantic (6-8-1; 5-3-1 Sun Belt) of a spot in the league's postseason tournament hosted by the University of North Texas November 5-9.
Arkansas State (4-11-1; 1-7-1 Sun Belt) has lost four in a row.
