Men's Team Open 2007-08 Season

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's men's tennis team will participate in the Southern Intercollegiates this weekend with the level of play the strongest in the program's history.

"I just got out of the tournament coaches meeting. I'm proud to be here and overwhelmed at the caliber of play and where FAU has come in just three years," said David Komie, FAU's head coach. "When I got here three years ago we won just one match. To have Oliver (Sajous) ranked and seeded 14th in the top-flight and to have him and Marc (Abdelnour), a newcomer, seeded 4th in their doubles flight is amazing in such a short time."

The Owls are scheduled to play Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
