The Florida Atlantic University track team will participate in the Valentine Invitational on Saturday.
The meet, which is hosted by Boston University, will be the final indoor meet before the Owls head to Arkansas State to compete the Sun Belt Conference Championships. It will also be the first meet for the Owls since the UNC Fast Times on January 27. At that UNC meet, the Owls won the distance medley relay and placed in the top-10 in seven other events.
"We've had a lot of people (competing) in a lot of events (earlier in the season). This week, we're going to focus on one or two events and have everyone work on improving their times for conference (indoor championships)."
Sophomore Trishauna Clarke has been arguably the best sprinter for the Owls during the indoor season, and will look to continue her success at the Valentine Invitational, where she is scheduled to compete in the 55-meter and 200-meter dashes.
