FAU's Block, McKenna Named Louisville Slugger Preseason All-Americans

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University baseball players William Block and Mike McKenna have been named to the Louisville Slugger Preseason All-American Team.
Both players were named to the third-team by Louisville Slugger. It is the second preseason honor for Block who also was named to the Brooks Wallace Watch List. McKenna also was named to the Wallace Watch List, as well as a preseason All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Block, a junior infielder from Pembroke Pines, hit .344 last season, with a team-high 18 homeruns and a .652 slugging percentage. McKenna, a senior outfielder from Delray Beach, was second on the team in batting average (.413), RBI (60), slugging percentage (.716) and tied for second with 16 homers.
