As a senior (2008): 2008 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year... First Team All-Sun Belt Conference outfielder... Collegiate Baseball `Louisville Slugger' All-America Third Team selection... One of 50 semifinalists for USA Baseball's Golden Spikes Award... Brooks Wallace `Watch List' finalist- an award presented to the nation's top collegiate baseball player... Entered the year as top returning hitter in the Sun Belt Conference (.413 BA in 2007) and was a consensus preseason All-American...Began the 2008 season by hitting .462 in first nine games... As a junior (2007): Finished the season 13th among all Division I players in batting average (.413) and 18th nationally in slugging % (.716)... Hit .434 during regular season conference play, best among all league players... American Baseball Coaches Association Second Team All-Region award winner... Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference player...156 total bases ranks 5th all-time in FAU single-season history, with his `07 totals in hits (90), homeruns (16) and batting average (.413) also ranking as top-10 FAU single-season performances... Hit safely in 23 straight games from April 7-May 23... Hit a grand slam against Northern Illinois (3/14)... Hit a walk-off homer against Cincinnati (2/10)... As a sophomore (2006): Made 31 starts during the season despite missing 24 games with a knee injury... Had a season-high four hits on Feb. 11 against Southern Illinois... Season-high three RBI came on May 18 against East Tennessee State... Hit three home runs in the final nine games... In conference play hit .355 with a .645 slugging percentage... Had nine multiple-hit and four multiple-RBI games... Finished the season with a seven-game hitting streak. As a freshman (2005): Did not start the season as a starter but quickly became an integral part of the offense and started 40 games... In his first collegiate at bat hit a pinch-hit home run against no. 23 TCU... Carried a batting average over .360 through Apr. 10... Finished third on the squad with six homers... In A-Sun play he finished fourth on the squad with 21 RBI and tied the team leaders with four home runs... Finished the season with 12 multiple-hit and eight multiple-RBI games...
