BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team was swept by the Western Kentucky University (27-30, 10-30, 14-30) on Saturday.
The Owls (6-18, 3-11 Sun Belt), were plagued by hitting troubles all afternoon and found themselves trailing 17-10 in the first game before rallying to cut the lead to 24-21. However, FAU was unable to maintain the momentum and dropped the first game 30-27.
The Hilltoppers took game two in dominating fashion by the score of 30-10 and won game three by an impressive 30-14 margin.
