Greensboro, GA -- Mike Berger shot a final-round 73 to lead Florida Atlantic University in the Reynolds Plantation Classic on Wednesday. The sophomore's three-round total was 219 (72-73-74) for a 16th place finish.
Competing in his first collegiate tournament, freshman Andrew Storm shot a three-round total of 229 (74-78-77). He finished in 41st place. Fellow freshmen Mark Washburn shot a 78 during the final round and ended with 234 strokes.
Senior Kevin Clark posted a mark of 233 (76-82-75) for the event. Joong Jo shot a total of 244 (81-81-82) strokes for the tournament.
The Owls matched their first round score of 303 during the final round and totaled 914 strokes, finishing in 10th place.
Southern Mississippi University won the tournament with a score of 861. Aaron O'Callaghan of Southeastern Louisiana University was the individual winner shooting a total of 213 (75-67-71).
Mercer University served as the tournament host for the event played at the Port Armor Country Club par 72-7,051 yard course.
The Owls will tee it up again on Oct. 7 at the Winthrop Invitational.
