F.J. Schofield Honored by A-Sun

Macon, GA - F.J. Schofield was named Atlantic Sun Player-of-the-Week, as announced by the league office in Macon, GA, Tuesday afternoon. For the week, Schofield, from Glendale, AZ went 2-0 in singles play, defeating Georgia State's Miha Lisac 6-4, 6-2 in an A-Sun Conference match and then followed it up on Saturday with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Andre' Cavaco of Radford. Schofield also went 2-0 in doubles matches, paired with David Demers. Schofield has led FAU to a 7-2 record thus far this year.

The junior owns an 11-1 dual match singles record on the year, with four wins coming at the #2 position and six at the #3 position. Schofield has now won eight consecutive matches, only needing a third set once during that stretch.

FAU hosts the University of Wisconsin, 2:00 pm March 17, in Boca Raton, FL.
