Upcoming Event: Men's Tennis versus Florida Gulf Coast on February 20, 2026 at 1 p.m.

The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's tennis teams will open fall play this weekend when the Owls head to the C.L. Varner Invitational hosted by Rollins College. Head coach Alex Alcantara will take an eight-person squad (four men, four women) up to the event in Winter Park.
Juniors David Demers, Antonello Magris and Kevin Obletz will be joined by senior F.J. Schofield on the men's singles side with doubles pairings of Magris/Demers and Obletz/Schofield on tap.
The women will be represented by seniors Alena Dvorakova and Veronika Koksova, sophomore Katherine Bartnik, and freshman Pia Terol. Dvorakova and Koksova will team up for doubles as will Terol and Bartnik.
The tournament is the first of three fall events that the Owls are scheduled to participate in. The women will take part in the University of Miami Fall Classic on October 15-17 while the men will play in the UCF Fall Classic over the weekend of October 23-24.
