Men's Basketball to Face FGCU

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University will play its final exhibition game of the season when it hosts Florida Gulf Coast Tuesday night at 7:00pm. The Owls are coming off an impressive 88-44 victory over Nova Southeastern last Thursday in an exhibition. Tuesday's exhibition will be the first of the year for the Eagles.

Mike Bell led all scorers in Thursday win, scoring 34 points and going 14-of-18 from the field. Jeff Cowans and Darren Dickerson also chipped in double-figure performances, scoring 14 and 12, respectively.

FGCU, entering its second year as a men's basketball program, went 23-9 in 2002-03 and was led in scoring by junior guard Ryan Hopkins, who tossed in 18.2 points per game.
