FAU Men's Golf Adds One in Early Signing Period

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University signed Tommy Suri during the recently completed early signing period.

Suri, currently attending Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, has helped lead the team to two consecutive state championships and three titles in the past four years. The Miami native has been a four-year starter and has been named to the All-Dade County first team the last three years. Suri recently finished second at the Class 2A state championship after shooting one-under par for the tournament.

Suri, ranked 106 in the nation by Golf Week magazine, has also played in numerous national tournaments. At the American Junior Golf Association's national tournament in St. Augustine, he shot a 69, 71 and 75 to place second overall. Suri also placed second at the AJGA tournament in Jekyll, Georgia with rounds of 68 and 72 and second at the North South tournament at Pinehurst, N.C
