The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball teams takes to the court December 16 in a non-conference game at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. FAU, which has not played since December 5, enters the contest with a 4-4 record while JMU is 2-3. Game time is set for 7:00pm EST at the JMU Convocation Center.
Earnest Crumbley continues to lead the Owls with 17.5 points per game. Crumbley is ranked 16th in the nation with 3.9 three-point field goals per game. Jeff Cowans is second on the team with 15.0ppg. As a team, FAU is 11th in the nation with 12.1 steals per game.
FAU's last game was a 90-72 loss at Virginia Commonwealth. The JMU trip marks the second of three straight single-game trips to Virginia as FAU plays at Liberty on December 20.
Cowans needs 14 points to move into third-place on FAU's all-time scoring list. Cowans currently is fifth with 906 points.
The Dukes last played on December 7 and defeated Akron 84-82. The win snapped a three-game losing streak.
