Men's Golf Begins Play at TAAC Championship

Florida Atlantic University is in 10th-place after the first round of the Trans America Athletic Conference Championship Monday in Dadeville, AL. The Owls shot a 312 and are one stroke behind Campbell and Stetson and three strokes behind 7th-place Samford. Georgia State leads the field with an eight-under par 280.

Matt Anderson led FAU with a five-over par 77. Josh Kaplan and Michael Bailey each shot a 78.

Play continues with Tuesday's second round followed by Wednesday's final round.
