Jirak's Run Ends

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA -

Florida Atlantic University's Martin Jirak was defeated Monday morning in the prequalifying final round of the ITA All-American Championships in Stone Mountain, GA. The senior fell to Wisconsin's Alexander Kasarov, 6-3, 6-3.

Jirak had won four matches in three days to advance to Monday's showdown. He was making a bid to advance to the championship's 64-player qualifying round.

The ITA All-American Championships is one of three annual tournaments that feature the top NCAA Division I players.
