Carol Hora Named Associate Tennis Coach

Caroline Hora has been named Florida Atlantic University's Associate Tennis Coach, announced Tom Cargill FAU's Athletics Director.
Under the direction of Mike Wheelen's, FAU's Head Tennis Coach, the men's team broke into the country's top-50 last season and received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. FAU's assent to a 41st ranking is the highest in the history of the Trans America Athletic Conference. This year, the women's team hopes to make a similar climb.
Hora will help build a program, which is led by Kristen Jordan. Jordan was named the 1999- 2000 Trans America Athletic Conference Player of the Year after posting a 26-3 record. She also tallied a 22 match winning-streak, spanning from January through October of 2000. More importantly, she advanced to the quarter finals of the ITA South Regional Championship, led in Mobile, AL, the first week of November.
Hora, a 1998 graduate of the University of Miami with a BA in Pre-Medicine/Biology and Sports Management and Business Administration. Since graduation, she has worked at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, the Meadow Club in Southampton, NY, the Broken Sound Country Club, and the Tennis Club Schwartzenburg located in Vienna, Austria.
