Has been at Florida Atlantic since 2013, currently serving as the assistant athletic director, facilities and event management, a position he was elevated to in the Fall of 2023
Prior to his current role, Philipp served as the director of facilities and event management, a position he had held since the fall of 2016
In his role as director, Philipp is in charge of executing all game and event operation duties, developing facility policies and procedures, hiring and training a myriad of part-time employees and independent contractors, among other duties
Before his promotion, served as an assistant director of operations and facilities for a year
Was a coordinator of operations and facilities for a little over a year prior to being promoted to assistant director
Originally got his start at FAU as an operations and facilities intern in the summer of 2012 while still a student at USF
Has worked with the FAU athletic facilities department since July 2013
At USF
Served as a student equipment manager for the USF football team for 3.5 seasons

Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from USF in 2013
Recently graduated from the well-renowned MBA Sport Management program at FAU in Dec. 2021
