Joined Florida Atlantic in the fall of 2025 as Assistant Athletic Director of Business & Finance.
Brings more than a decade of experience in project coordination, scheduling, facilities management, and financial operations within large educational environments.
Will play a key role in aligning athletic business operations with University policy, overseeing budgets, and streamlining internal workflows to support Olympic sports and student-athlete success.

At Broward County Public Schools

Started a new role with Broward County School District in June of 2022 as a Scheduler, managing capital improvement and maintenance projects across the district.
Directed project timelines, asset tracking, vendor negotiation, and budget oversight.
Streamlined the Construction Services Minor Projects (CSMP) process using Visio, coordinated contractor selection, and ensured compliance with procurement and financial guidelines.
Oversaw the Summer Youth Employment Program (2023 & 2024), mentoring interns and introducing student Athletes to careers in skilled trades.
Joined Broward County School District in 2014, working as a plumber and tradesman
Helped maintain critical systems including emergency hurricane shelter facilities, performing installations and repairs, and mentoring apprentices in the trades program.
Served on emergency assessment teams for Broward Schools.

Coaching Experience

Over 10 years of high school basketball coaching experience, including as Head Varsity Coach at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (2019-2023) and Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory (2023-2025).
Managed all aspects of program operations including budgets, scheduling, compliance, and player development.
Directed youth basketball camps, coordinated tournaments, and mentored student-athletes academically and athletically, with an emphasis on sportsmanship, discipline, and leadership.

Community Leadership

Currently serves on the state board for Habitat for Humanity of Florida.

Vendor Negotiation & Program Management: Expertise in managing the School Board's CSMP process, negotiating contractor costs within SBBC procurement guidelines, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
Maximo: Proficient in using Maximo for work order management, job planning, and performing cost estimates for various projects.
Visio: Skilled in using Visio to create flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams for project planning and workflow optimization.
SPSS: Trained in SPSS for inputting, analyzing, and performing quantitative statistical data analysis.
Emergency Management: Completed key Emergency Management Agency (EMA) - Incident Command System courses: ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, and National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses 700 and 800.
Plan Reading: General knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints.

Personal
Education: Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Florida Atlantic University (Minor: Disaster Management), in 2023. Furthered his education with an Executive MBA in Sport Management, also from Florida Atlantic, in 2025.
