Tasked with overseeing the marketing efforts for men’s basketball and baseball, while serving as the secondary contact for football.
At American University
Post graduation, became a member of the American Athletic department, serving as the Director of Ticket Sales/Assistant Director of Marketing.
As the director of ticketing, autonomously led all ticket-related efforts and improvements, including building and maintaining relationships with season ticket holders to retain interests and secure deposits, helped generate $100k in ticket sales annually.
Implemented new sales tactics to increase revenue, generate brand awareness, and brand retention while handling all financial items that came through the box office: invoices, game day reports, audits, credit card POS payment, and NCAA tournament requests.
Led the internship team as a supervisor and managed a payroll of 30 ticket workers for game day operations.
In the role of assistant director of marketing, developed concise, strategic marketing campaigns with teams and coaches for their respective upcoming seasons.
Increased student attendance through partnerships with on-campus student groups, social media efforts, and event promotions.
Worked closely with ESPN+ and the Patriot League to assess game viewership and metrics to gauge the value of offerings, securing new sponsorships annually for on-air, in-arena, and social placements.
Generated roughly $250-$300k annually through various partnerships with local and national brands and created and spearheaded special events to interest the student body as well as sponsors.
Was the point of contact for all on/off campus efforts for our mascot program across D.C., Maryland and Virginia
Personal Education: Graduated from American University, earning a degree from the school of communication, majoring in public relations & strategic communication with a minor in marketing in May 2019.
