BOCA RATON, Fla – A group of Owls from the Florida Atlantic men's and women's swimming teams will participate in the 2025 CSCAA National Invitational Championships held in Ocala from Thursday, March 12 to Saturday, March 14.
This will mark the fourth straight season in which the Owls will take part in the NICs, a CSCAA three-day meet that give Owl swimmers another postseason opportunity to best their times before the end of the season.
LAST TIME OUT
The Florida Atlantic men's swimming and diving team became ASUN Conference champions, its first conference title in program history. The women's swimming and diving team continued its success at the American Conference Championships, improving upon their finish from last season. For the men, they closed the meet with a total of 15 medals, nine gold, with
Daniel Laureyssens winning Male Most Outstanding Swimmer and
Rocco Simonelli garnering co Male Most Outstanding Diver. The women saw
Megan Drover-Smith win gold in the 200 back and earned two additional medals.
ON DECK
2026 NCAA Championships are scheduled from March 25 – 28, with senior
Daniel Laureyssens qualifying in the 50 free and 200 free.
