Bio
Junior (2006): Missed the first 31 games of the regular season due to injury...posted a 2.57 ERA in 65.2 innings...gave up 58 hits while walking 23 and fanning 48...opponents batted .240 against her, lefties hit just .200...6-1 during Atlantic Sun conference play...threw seven innings, striking out seven while allowing one run on three hits and a walk in her season debut versus Gardner-Webb (3/26)...pitched seven innings, giving up seven hits without giving up an earned run versus Florida International (4/4)...allowed two hits and an earned run in a five-inning win over East Tennessee State in her 50th career start...picked up her 300th career strikeout fanning three versus Lipscomb (4/15)...registered her first-career save versus Florida International (5/3)...second-career save came versus East Tennessee State in the A-Sun Championship opener (5/11)...fanned a career-best 11 batters, giving up just three hits and one run in a second-round win over Campbell (5/11).
Sophomore (2005): Led the team with 34 appearances on the mound...ended the season with a 15-14 record and a 2.30 ERA in 191.2 innings pitched...posted five shutouts and combined for another...completed 22 of the 28 games she started...retired 183 batters via strikeout...pitched a span of four games without allowing an earned run...began with Manhattan, March 12 and ended March 18 against Wisconsin...had two games with double-digit strikeouts, the first was 10 in a five-inning game against Quinnipiac and the second 13 against Mercer on April 15...longest outing was a 10-inning 4-3 loss to Wisconsin on April 22...held opponents to a .233 average.
Freshman (2004): Attended the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT...appeared in 20 games as a pitcher and 19 as a hitter...went 3-13 in the circle with a 4.52 ERA...had two shutouts and 11 complete games...pitched 113.0 innings...collected nine hits in 29 at-bats for a .310 average...had three doubles and five RBIs.
High School: Attended Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, CT...coach was Pete Zappi...led team to Class L State Championship as a senior...three-time All-State selection...four-time All-Conference selection...also a member of field hockey team.
