Floyd received official word from the NCAA that he had been granted a sixth season at the start of the 2011 summer. His experience and versatility will be invaluable in 2011.
2010: Returned to see action in 12 games with one start...earned the team's second most carries with 40 and second most yards with 256 for a team-leading 6.4 yards per carry...credited with one score and a season and career long 65 yards, which was also the longest carry of the 2010 season for any back...was fourth on the squad with 12 receptions for a total of 141 yards and a score...led the squad in kick returns with 34 returns for 738 yards
2009: Suffered a shoulder injury during preseason and did not play.
Motor City Bowl: Traveled with the squad to Detroit.
2008: Played in five games and recorded 11 carries for 38 yards...longest carry was 15 yards...also shared in kick return duties...had seven kick returns for 145 yards, his longest was 26 yards...recorded a tackle assist against North Texas.
2007: Played in two games and was a big part of the return game until he suffered a season-ending knee injury versus Oklahoma State...had returned five kicks for a total of 85 yards...his longest return was 36 yards at Oklahoma State...had a total of 91 all-purpose yards in the OSU game, three on the ground, 13 in the air and 75 yards of return.
2006: Played in every game...as a true freshman he was fifth, third among returners, on the team with 423 all-purpose yards...his strongest game on the ground was 11 carries for 31 yards at South Carolina...recorded one reception for 13 yards at Clemson in his collegiate debut...was second on the squad with 255 yards as a kick returner...55 yards of his season total came against Troy, where he recorded his season-long 37-yard return...he was one of four true freshman to see game time.
High School: Played for Mark Guandola at Chaminade-Madonna High School, where he rushed for 1,750 yards and recorded 20 TDs...also on the receiving end of 250 yards and four TDs...earned All-County and All-State honors and was named the Sun-Sentinel Player of the Year...participated in the Dade versus Broward All-Star Game...two-sport athlete (football and track and field...ran a 10.5 in the 100 m dash).
