Dorvilus is in his second season with the Owls, as a graduate assistant. The Miami native is a former FAU player who started two seasons. Dorvilus' work as a graduate assistant focuses on the wide receivers and compiling scouting reports. He also works with recruit evaluation and on-campus visits.
Playing Career
Was a two-year starter at tight end and drew three starts as a sophomore while he saw action in every game during his four-year FAU career. Dorvilus was used in multiple facets as a tight end and played under both a pro-style and spread offense. Following his senior campaign, he earned the team’s Mr. Resilient award, an award bestowed by then Interim Head Coach Brian Wright, who used the word Resilient to exemplify what he was looking for in each team member in an effort to reach bowl eligibility status, which they accomplished. In fact, Dorvilus grabbed a season-ending touchdown pass to secure a victory and become bowl eligible. He tallied six touchdowns on the year, earned Conference USA honorable mention honors and was a member of CollegeFootballPerformance.com watch list. The Miami native also was a major contributor on special teams.
