Mentored Carmelo McKenzie, an NC State commit, who joined the IMG program with no stars, as part of the Junior National Program. Through hard work and Clark’s tutelage, McKenzie moved up to the National Program as a starter and developed a resume that elevated his profile to a three-star prospect with more than 15 FBS offers
At Alabama State
Coaching career began at his alma mater in August of 2022 as a defensive line assistant and pass rush specialist
Directed in-game defensive adjustments as well as halftime corrections while overseeing weekly scout cards, managing scout team operations and developing the defensive line
Worked with Nelson Jordan, who later played for the Edmonton Elks of the CFL as well as Brandon Gaddy who was invited to the Pittsburgh Steelers minicamp

Has served as a defensive line coach for the NFL International Player Pathway (IPP) since February 2025
Began working as a defensive line coach for Under Armour Future All-American Game in January 2026

Named All-American following his 2021 season
