2003: Played in every game both on defensive unit and on special teams...also saw action as a pun returner...returned one punt for 23 yards, it was in the season opener...ended the season with 41 total tackles including 22 solo...returned his lone interception for 11 yards...forced two fumbles and credited with three passes being broken up and a blocked kick against Middle Tennessee...spring honor roll member.
2002: Saw time as a true freshman backing up the starting “Sam” linebacker…progression was stepped up during Tyrone Higgins’ injury and a team eye infection…best outing was the final game of the year with two solo tackles, one assist and a forced fumble that led to an Owls Touchdown.
Coaches Comments Upon Signing: Has the ability to get to the ball. Should develop into an outstanding linebacker.
High School: Played for Tim Tharp at Palm Beach Gardens High School...team made three consecutive trips to the play-offs...he was Palm Beach Garden=s leading tackler and was a three-year starter...named first team all-county as a defensive line backer...played in the "Outback and the All-Star" football game.
Chose FAU: Was excited about the facilities and the fact that he could stay close to home. The direction of the program was a plus.
