2002: Became a primary receiver and earned a starting spot…played in every game…slowed only with a hamstring injury…scored the team’s first offensive TD of the 2002 season…had a team leading 38 receptions for 702 yards almost doubling any other receiver…averaged 18.5 yards per reception and 63.8 yards per game…crediting with two TDs…longest reception was 56 yards against Eastern Kentucky (9-21-02), a game he was doubtful to play with the injury…also had a season-high 158 yards in that game…which set a new FAU single-game receptions record…had one carry for four yards against James Madison (9-14-02)…also saw time on special teams as both a punt and kick returner…special team time was limited after he became such a vital part of the team’s offense…most kick returns was against Eastern Illinois (11-16-02)…longest return was also against EIU…most punt returns was three which he accomplished in the first two games of the season…longest punt return was 21 yards against Youngstown State (10-12-02)…ended the year with 981 all-purpose yards…second behind Anthony Jackson’s 2001 effort of 991.
2001: Played in every game...predominately on special teams...as a receiver tallied two catches for 32 yards...his longest was a 23 yard grab versus Drake from Garrett Jahn...also had one catch versus Marist...on special teams, led the team in punt returns with 17 for 233 yards...returned one for a TD, which was his longest of the season, a 75 yard return against Albany with 2:45 minutes remaining on the clock.
