2001: Named All-American by "Don Hansen's Gazette"...played in nine of the team's 10 contests, missing the Gardner-Webb game, due to injury...led the team in total tackles with 78 and in solo tackles with 48...was second on the team with 30 assists...credited with 1.5 tackles for a loss of four yards...had the team's first interception, versus Drake, and recovered one fumble for seven yards...forced another two...make his collegiate debut with four solo and six tackle assists...returned the following week to have six solo and three assists against the no. 22 team in the nation...tallied a minimum of six total tackles in every game he played, except the game he was hurt...best defensive outing was against Drake, a game he recorded 10 sol tackles, two assists and the interception.
2000: Has the size and tools to be a great player...showed the ability to make the big plays...became more consistent on down-by-down basis in the spring.
High School: Played for Carol Gibbons at Suncoast High School...led the team in both receptions (21) and interceptions ...finished the season third in the All- country in interceptions...played in the Outback All-Star Game...led the team in touchdowns...voted All-Conference, second-team All-Area....served as team's captain...three-sport athlete (football, basketball and track)...also earned second team All-county honors in basketball and was named the school's MVP (Player of the Year).
