2006: Used the year to get acclimated to the FAU play-book and redshirted.
High School: Played for Jeff Holt at Russellville High School, where he completed 253 of 418 passes (62.3 percent) for 3,215 yards and 24 touchdowns in the pass-heavy offense...team finished the 2005 season 6-5-1...guided Russellville to the Class AAAAA state playoff second-round...earned all-state honors as well as all-conference honors in 2005...as a junior he also earned all-conference honors...named State Farm Lander[apos]s Player of the Week and was a Senior Player of the Week...was a nominee for the State Farm Lander[apos]s Award given to the top high school football athlete in the state...received the Scholar Athlete of the Year Award and named the Academic Athlete of the Year...Top-Gun participant and named the Offensive Player of the Year for the Courier as well as received a spot on the Courier Dream Team...member of the National Honor Society and named an Arkansas Scholar.
