2011:Entered the fall campaign neck and neck for the starting job...saw action in five games with a start versus Western Kentucky, the home opener and new on-campus stadium opener...ended the season 19-35-0 for 168 yards...most productive outing was the WKU contest with 10 completions for 79 yards...longest completion was an 18 yarder at North Texas...also notched his first collegiate touchdown at UNT, a fourth-quarter, six-yard connection with Darian Williams.
2010: Listed as a two/three with the plan of rotating into the second quarter every other game...an early season injury to Graham Wilbert moved him into the sole no. 2 spot...saw action in four games...had two pass attempts, the first at Arkansas State, the second at Texas...had two carries for minus two yards.
2009: Continued to progress each practice and excel in the weekly toilet bowl games...moved into the second spot on the two-deep following an injury to Rusty Smith...in the two spot he earned the second quarter action that Schnellenberger employs with the No. 2 to gain experience when the game means something...completed two of the three pass attempts in his first game, versus UAB for 56 yards, including a pass for 49 yards...also ran four times for net gain two yards, his longest was a 12-yard run...completed one of three passes versus Troy for 13 yards and carried the ball five times with a gain of one.

2008: Traveled with the team but used the year to redshirt.
High School: Played for Greg Seibert at Pensacola High School, where he passed for 2,500 yards and 21 scores as a senior...also rushed for 400 yards...named Max Emfinger All-America for his efforts, as well as first-team All-Area and All-State ...played in the Max Emfinger All-American Game and the Pensacola All-Star Game...one recruit source ranks him among the top-four quarterbacks in the state and notes his ability to transition from a high school pro-style to a college that runs a pro-style offense...three-sport athlete (football, basketball and baseball).
