- Joined the Owls ahead of fall camp
- Added two tackles and a pass breakup in the Owls' season opener at Maryland
- Recorded two tackle assists in the Owls' home season opening win over FAMU
- Saw action in the Shula Bowl played at FIU
- Versus Memphis, recorded three tackles, including one solo
- Tallied three tackles in the Owls' 27-21 win over Rice in Houston
- Drew the start versus UAB and contributed three tackles in the win
- Had two solo tackles in his start at No. 19 South Florida
- Tallied seven tackles and a pass breakup in the Owls' contest at undefeated Navy
- Recorded five solo tackles and a pass breakup but more importantly he had a momentum grabbing 95-yard scoop and score, which is the second longest in the program's history, only surpassed by a 100 yard return back on Sept. 8, 2001, the during the program's first win and second game ever
