At Florida Atlantic

Joined the staff in December of 2024 as the squads' Defensive Tackles Coach
Coached All-Conference third team member CJ Doggette, who led the team with four sacks, as well as fellow team captain Bryce Langston who had a collegiate career high of 1.5 sacks
In January of 2026 Santana also assumed the responsibility of Run Game Coordinator as well as serving as the Defensive Tackles Coach

At Miami

Served as an assistant defensive line coach for their stellar 2024 season

At UT Martin

Joined the Skyhawks in the spring of 2022 as a defensive line coach

At Auburn

Served as an assistant defensive line coach at Auburn
Helped to mentor NFL Draft selection Colby Wooden and Marcus Harris
Also assisted with meeting preparations and film breakdown – including short yardage/goal line planning
Other duties included serving as a special teams assistant while running the scout team offense

At App State

Served one year at Appalachian State where he was a defensive line quality control analyst
Mentored four all-conference selections in Demetrius Taylor (first team selection and NFL Draft selection by Detroit Lions), Nick Hampton (third team), Jordon Earle (third team) and Caleb Spurlin (third team)

At IMG Academy

Gained coaching experience as a linebacker coach and post grad defensive coordinator

At Wake Forest

Earned his first full time position at Wake Forest as a defensive quality control assistant

At Alabama State

Served as a defensive graduate assistant at his alma mater Alabama State during in 2019, working directly with defensive coordinator Travis Pearson

Collegiate Playing Career

Played three seasons for Alabama State, appearing in 27 games over that time before an injury sidelined him late in the 2018 season
His best season came during his junior campaign in which he played 11 games at on the defensive line
He recorded 33 total tackles, including 18 solo stops, while also recording 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and a pair of fumbles
Also spent one year at Florida Atlantic following a prep career at Sickles High School (Tampa, Fla.).

Education: Graduated from Alabama State with a bachelor’s degree in coaching/criminal justice in 2020. He also received his master’s in education.
