Bio
2002: Earned a starting spot…played in eight games and was among the two-deep in every game…changed his body type between his freshman and sophomore campaigns and prospered under the tutelage of new offensive line coach John Bock.
2001: Missed the first half of the season with a bruised sternum and due to a family emergency...worked his way into the starting line-up as a true freshman...played in the last half home games...earned the nickname APork Chops@ during two-a-days after allegedly eating 14 pork chops in one sitting...one of the strongest player on the team.
Coaches' Comments Upon Signing: Helped lead his team to the 2000 6A playoffs...has good hands and is an intelligent player with good feet for a big man...athletic...combines size with excellent movement...very strong and powerful...one of the top defensive players in central Florida...Most Valuable Lineman in the "Down and Dirty Camp".
High School: Played for Rick Darlington at Apopka High School...finished season with high praise and recognition on the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-District 10 team...Orlando All-Metro team selection...named to the Orlando All-Orange County team and played in both the Metro All-Star Game and the Dixon Ticonderoga All-Star Game...three-sport athlete (football, track and weightlifting, a sport he earned All-State).
