- Selected by the Los Angeles Angels with the 11th pick of the first round in the 2023 MLB Draft
- Became the first Florida Atlantic student-athlete to be selected in the first round of a professional sports draft
- Became the third player in program history to be named Conference USA Player of the Year
- One of 25 amateur baseball players in the country to be named a semifinalist for USA Baseball's Golden Spikes Award

- Recorded his 100th career run batted in on May 7 against La. Tech

- Also tops on the team with a .409 average with runners in scoring position (27-for-66 with six HR and 49 RBI) and with 24 multi-hit games, while placing second with 16 games having two or more hits
- He did not fall off one bit once league play started, hitting .346 in non-conference games (28-of-81), and .346 against C-USA foes (36-of-104)
- Also finished the season with more walks than strikeouts, 28 to 21, and was second on the team with six stolen bases in eight attempts
- After opening weekend, was named C-USA Hitter of the Week, recording three multi-hit, multi-RBI games in a series win over No. 24 UCF
- In those first three games, he had three doubles, a home run, eight RBI and four runs scored, a slash line of .533 (8-for-15)/.588/.933
- He began the season - and his career - reaching in the team's first 10 games; then had the team's longest streak of games reaching base, with 19 (March 11-April 10); and ended the year reaching in the final six
- Had two two-home run games, as part of larger showings: 3-for-6 with three runs and six RBI on Feb. 27 vs. Seton Hall; 4-for-4 with three runs and four RBI on April 4 at Charlotte
- Despite never having played it before, was a tremendous defensive 1B. He committed just two errors in 454 total chances for a .996 fielding %, second highest in program history
- His chances ranked second in C-USA, 426 putouts were also second, and his being part of 38 double plays was the most
- Began his senior campaign at a .520 clip, 13-for-25, with 10 RBI and 14 runs scored
- Did not strike out and earned 13 walks in the shortened season
- Had an OBP of .692 and was slugging .720
- Named to the Class 7A-11 All-District Team
- The year prior, was a First Team All-American outfielder and Class 9A-10 Hitter of the Year, batting .446 with 22 RBI, 27 runs scored and 12 extra base hits
