- Signed as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Angels on July 11, 2023
- Started 44 games, 42 of which were at catcher
- Homered twice, the second of which was a grand slam, and drove in seven runs on March 24 against Middle Tennessee
- Started in right field on April 23 against WKU and at second base on April 25 against Miami
- Started 37 games behind the plateÂ

- Earned national notoriety and was the story of all of baseball when in his debut, he hit two grand slams - in the same inning - in his first two collegiate at-bats, Feb. 20 against UCF
- Bookended the season with a 4-for-5 effort against Middle Tennessee in the C-USA Tournament, hitting two home runs, knocking in three and scoring three runs
- Finished the year with eight home runs, 24 RBI, a .252 average and a .524 slugging percentage, starting 28 of 31 games
- Threw out eight baserunners trying to steal against him, holding said runners to a success rate to just 68%
- For Corey Cooke at Jensen Beach High, was hitting .452 his senior season, and with 10 RBIÂ through 11 games, before the season was halted
- Ranked by Perfect Game as the No. 3 catcher in the state of Florida, No. 13 catcher nationally, and held overall player rankings of No. 32 (Florida) and No. 150 (in the country)
- Twice selected by PG as a Preseason All-American
- Was also Florida All-Region First Team
- FACA Treasure Coast Player of the Year and Treasure Lake Conference Player of the Year
