Bio
2021 (COVID Fifth Year)
- Was one of just two Owls to start every single game, and in all 57 outings, was the team's leadoff hitter and shortstop
- In fact, played every possible inning at shortstop
- Started the year with a bang, tying the program's single-game high by scoring five runs in the Opening Night win over UCF
- Reached six times in that game, going 3-for-3 with a single, double and home run, two walks, and was hit by a pitch
- Had a stretch of six multi-hit games in a row from March 7-16, raising his average at that point to .381
- Finished second on the team, and seventh in C-USA, with 38 walks, also was hit by a pitch 10 times, second on the team as well
- Wrapped his final campaign with a .271 average, a .405 OBP, and 48 runs scored, third-highest on the squad (and 14th in the league)
- Graduated in the spring with a bachelor's in public safety administration and a minor in disaster management
- Prior to the season, earned the offseason's top award as 2021 Iron Owl
2020 (Senior)
- Reached base safely in the team's first 12 games of the year, to extend streak to 20 overall dating back to the 2019 season
- All told, was on base in 15 of 16 games and led squad with a .463 OBP
- Also began the year on a six-game hitting streak
- Paced the Owls with 15 walks (fourth-highest among Conference USA hitters)Â and was second with four hit-by-pitch
- Batted .255 with a double among his 12 hits, four RBI and nine runs scored
- Committed just two errors in 62 total chances at shortstop
- In five games, reached base three or more times, including a season-high four in a Feb. 23 win over Binghamton
- Had a five-game stretch where he scored a run in each game, each an Owl win
2019 (Junior)
- Finished fifth on the team with a .320 average in 47 games, with 41 starts, all at shortstop
- Had eight doubles and one home run, which came in the Conference USA Championship in a win over WKU
- From April 28 to May 12, tallied a nine-game hitting streak that saw his average climb 53 points, to a season-high .330
- Five of the six final games in that stretch were multi-hit affairs, including his only three-hit game of the year, at Sam Houston State
- Knocked in a season-high three RBI in a road game against Southern Miss
- Was the team's top hitter against league opponents, batting .362 with 11 of his 21 RBI on the year
- Ended the season by reaching base in the year's final eight games
Prior to FAU
- Played for coach Bryan Lewallyn at Pensacola State
- Was named Second Team All-Conference after a season in which he led the squad with a .340 average
- In 27 games, scored 22 runs, had two home runs and 20 RBI, walked 10 times versus just seven strikeouts and had an on-base percentage of .415
- That came after a freshman year where he hit .277 with 20 RBI, 30 runs scored and 13 stolen bases
