As a senior (2008): Finished as a .324 career hitter in four seasons at FAU... Fouling a ball off his foot and a subsequent injury interrupted another outstanding season in Game 14 against Louisiana-Lafayette (3/14)... Was hitting .312 with six home runs and 16 RBI through FAU's first 14 games- all starts at third base... Scored 12 runs in the first eight games and had drawn 15 walks before being sidelined... Homered against then-No. 5 North Carolina (2/23) at FAU Stadium in the opening weekend of play... Hit a grand slam against Mount Saint Mary's (2/27) four days later... Hit two home runs in the same inning against Eastern Michigan (3/2)... Homered from both sides of the plate against Monmouth (3/12)... Returned to play and start in each of FAU's final 13 games, beginning May 7th vs. Florida Gulf Coast... Went 7-of-13 with five RBI and two homers in final regular season series at Florida International (May 15-17)... Finished the year with a .293 average with 25 runs and 23 RBI in 29 games.
As a junior (2007): Was one of two Owls to start all 58 games... Hit .349 with six homeruns... Went 5-for-6 with three runs scored and three RBI against Miss. Valley St... Went 3-for-3 against Villanova... Recorded 13 putouts in 3-2 loss to Arkansas-Little Rock... Fifth on the team with .512 slugging percentage... Also fifth on team in hits, RBI and total bases... Led the team in stolen bases with 15... Began the season with an 11-game hit streak... Chosen by the Washington Nationals in the 20th round of 2007 MLB First Year Player Draft.
As a sophomore (2006): Started 26 games at third base and eight at shortstop... Led the team with 10 stolen bases... Had a season-high three hits at the A-Sun Tournament against Jacksonville... Had five games with two RBI... His home run came on Mar. 11 at Mercer... Finished the year with nine multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI games... Ended the season with a seven-game hitting streak... In the final two months of the season he hit .429 (24-for-56) with a .484 on-base percentage, five doubles and a .518 slugging percentage... At the conference tournament went 6-for-9 with a double and two walks in three games.
As a freshman (2005): Hit .353 in 34 at bats... Made his first collegiate start against Lipscomb on Apr. 17 and finished with a season-high two RBI... His season-high two hits came in the NCAA Regional against Mississippi State.
High School: Played for Bill Henderson at Westminster Christian High School... Named Second-Team All-Conference after hitting .395 with 10 doubles, 26 RBI and four homers... Two-sport athlete: baseball and basketball.
