Football Returns Saturday Night on the Florida Atlantic Sports Network

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic football returns Saturday night and with it comes the return of football on the Florida Atlantic Sports Network. Fans can listen to every football game live on FOX Sports South Florida with Ken LaVicka, Chris Newbold, Mike Mreczko and Frank Forte.

LaVicka is back for his 17th season on the mic as the Voice of the Owls and calls the action with Newbold, a former Owl offensive lineman, in his third season as the analyst. Mreczko is in his 11th season on the FAU airwaves serving as engineer and host of the pre-and postgame shows. Forte handles sideline reporting duties.

Saturday's season opener at Florida begins with a live 30-minute pregame show on FOX Sports South Florida, leading up to a 7:45 p.m. kickoff at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville. Following the game, stay tuned for the postgame wrap-up and hear from Hagerty Family Head Coach Zach Kittley as he breaks down the game.

A Hubbard Media station, FOX Sports South Florida is the flagship home for the Florida Atlantic Sports Network on 640 AM, 103.1 HD2 FM, the FOX Sports South Florida app and FOXSports640.com. It is also home for the Florida Atlantic Coaches Show, which airs Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. live from Duffy's Sports Grill on St. Andrews Blvd., in Boca Raton.
